Wuz good world dis ya boi White Sox Real Talk checking back in, White Sox began a 11 game homestand last night with the 1st of a 4 game set wit the Oakland A’s. Time for my recap; the game started off in the 1st when Matt Holiday hit a 2-run shot to left field to give the A’s an early 2-0 lead. This game showed a lot of great defensive plays especially when Holliday robbed Paul Konerko of a game tying HR in the 1st. But the Sox did make a comeback when A.J. tied the game on a HR in the 5th inning.
The Sox then returned the favor on the defensive side of the ball when Dewayne Wise also robbed a HR in this game but this time he robbed Jack Cust of a HR which would have gave the A’s a 3-2 lead. The biggest part of the game was when Gavin Floyd struck out Orlando Cabrera with bases loaded & 2 outs in the 6th.

After that Jim Thome Thome delivered with a 3-Run blast in the 8th to give the Sox a 6-2 victory and their 4th win a row. Now Gavin Floyd pitched one helluva game and only allowed 2 runs off a home run. So now the Sox are 3.5 games back and in 2nd in the AL Central as they will try to talke more wins from the A’s and set up a series with the Tigers that could potentially give them 1st place in the AL Central. I also wanted to touch on Roy Oswalt not wanting to come here but if I do i will be using some words that i can’t use on this blog lol until next time PEACE!!!
