White Sox/Royals series Preview

Wuz good world, Im back giving you a preview of this weekends series between my Chicago White Sox and the Kansas City Royals. Now on paper this series looks like a sweep for the southsiders but the Royals have been hot of late so lets preview the pitching matchups for this weekend.

Friday:

Mark Buehrle(13-11) 3.85 ERA

      VS.

Brian Bannister(8-15) 5.77 ERA

Saturday:

Gavin Floyd(16-7) 3.73 ERA

    VS.

Kyle Davies(7-7) 4.32 ERA

Sunday

John Danks(10-8) 3.32 ERA

    VS.

Brandon Duckworth(3-1) 5.19 ERA

Now as we look at the pitching matchups they key for the Sox is how fresh will their starters be after all of them are pitching on short rest as you saw last night didnt go so well for the Javi.

OFFENSE NEEDS TO STEP UP!!!…..The White Sox obiviously left their bats in Chicago after their doubleheader against the tigers on sunday because in the yankee series they got outscore 20-11 and only 3 runs in the last two games and because KC has been swinging the bat well lately the Sox gon have to step it up.

FINALLY, THE SOX MUST OVERCOME WHAT HAPPENED LAST TIME IN KC…….

Ready to Fight

The series got off on the right foot the last time these two teams played in KC with the Sox welcoming Ken Griffey Jr.   to the team has he had 2 RBI’s in a White Sox victory. But after that it all went down hill as the Sox lost the next game then got pounded in 2 different ways on that Sunday by losing to the Royals 14-3 and getting a couple punches thrown at them too. So with that being said the Sox NEED to take 2 out of 3 or even better sweep to get a bigger cushion before heading to the dreaded Metrodome on Tuesday. I’m White Sox Real Talk I’ll holla after tonights game Peace!!!
